1897
This is the year of the formation of the Equitable Fraternal Union by a group of businessmen in Neenah, Wisconsin. It was founded as a fraternal life insurance society. This company would eventually go on to be known as the Equitable Reserve Association, the company for which the building is now named. They hired architect William Waters from Oshkosh, Wisconsin to design the building. The Equitable Reserve Association occupied the building until 2012.
